Draughts rules:

Tavira Open is an international draughts tournament, a competition in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere during a holiday.


- The open tournament will be played in 8 rounds Swiss system. (in case of small or large number of participants, the tournament organisation will have the ability to change the number of rounds to 7 or till 9).
- The rules are according to the regulations of FPDamas and FMJD.
- Time control is after 2 hrs / 50 moves + to 30 minutes until the end.
- Time control for lower level players can be 1 1/2 hrs / 40 moves to 60 minutes until the end.
- The first price will be 750 €. The price fund: 80% of fees. Exact prices will be announced after 1st round.
- In unforseen situations the tournament director decides.


Organisation rules:

- The organization of the tournament can not be held liable for the cost of illness or accidents during the tournament or in the playroom. This is also for losing or otherwise loss of goods.
- The tournament organization and management is not responsible for errors on this website.
